1. Return Rights

1.1. Return Period

  • All Customers: 30 days from order receipt date
  • Deadline compliance: Product must be sent back within 14 days of withdrawal notice

1.2. How to Initiate a Return

2. Return Shipping Costs

2.1. Customer-Initiated Returns

  • All Customers: Customer pays return shipping (unless product defective/incorrect)

2.2. Store-Initiated Returns

We cover return shipping when:

  • Product received differs from order (wrong size/model/color)
  • Product has manufacturing defects
  • Product damaged before shipping
  • Product incomplete due to our error


3. Refund Process

3.1. Refund Timeline

  • Processing: Within 14 days of withdrawal notification
  • Method: Same payment method as original purchase
  • Included: Full product price + original shipping costs (EU customers)

3.2. Refund Conditions

We may withhold refund until:

  • Product received back and condition verified, OR
  • Proof of return shipment provided (courier name + tracking number)

3.3. What's Refunded

  • Product price: Full amount paid
  • Original shipping: Refunded (EU customers, or if product defective)
  • Return shipping: Not refunded (unless our error)


4. Product Condition Requirements

4.1. Acceptable Return Condition

Products must be returned:

  • Unused: No signs of wear beyond necessary inspection
  • Complete: With all original tags, holograms, security features
  • Clean: Unwashed, no stains, sweat marks, or odors
  • Undamaged: No tears, scratches, or mechanical damage
  • Original packaging: In original or equivalent protective packaging

4.2. Inspection Standards

Similar to physical store inspection:

  • Try on for fit and feel
  • Check quality and appearance
  • Do not wear for extended periods
  • Do not remove tags or wash

4.3. Unacceptable Return Conditions

We cannot accept returns of:

  • Clothing: With usage signs (stains, sweat, material damage)
  • Washed items: Or items with tags/security features removed
  • Footwear: With visible wear signs (sole marks, scratches)
  • Cosmetics: Opened or partially used
  • Accessories: Bent, damaged, or missing protective packaging


5. Size Selection Assistance

5.1. Our Size Guidance

  • Available: Size recommendations based on your measurements
  • Informational only: Not a guarantee of perfect fit
  • Individual variation: Fit depends on personal preferences and body type
  • Sizing issues: Standard return policy applies
  • Our responsibility: Limited to providing accurate size charts
  • Customer responsibility: Final size selection
  • Solution: Return/exchange according to this policy


6. Excluded Items

6.1. Non-Returnable Products

No return right for:

  • Sealed hygiene products: Opened after delivery
  • Custom/personalized items: Made-to-order, embroidered, or custom printed
  • Inseparably connected items: Products that become part of other items after delivery

6.2. Custom Orders

  • Made-to-measure: Dance clothing tailored to specific measurements
  • Personalized: Items with custom embroidery or printing
  • Special orders: Products manufactured specifically for customer


7. Exchange Process

7.1. Customer-Initiated Exchange

When: Product correct but customer wants different size/color/model

Process:

  1. Contact us: order@talento.dance
  2. Specify: Current product details + desired replacement
  3. Return: Original product (customer pays return shipping)
  4. New order: We send replacement (customer pays new shipping)

Conditions:

  • Product must meet return condition requirements
  • Replacement must be available in stock
  • Price difference paid/refunded if applicable

7.2. Store-Initiated Exchange

When: We sent wrong product or defective item

Process:

  1. Contact us immediately: order@talento.dance
  2. Provide: Order number, problem description, photos
  3. Return: We arrange pickup or provide return label
  4. Replacement: We send correct product at our cost

Our responsibility:

  • All shipping costs (return + replacement)
  • Expedited processing
  • Full customer satisfaction


8. Defective Product Claims

8.1. Manufacturing Defects

Covered defects:

  • Material flaws present at delivery
  • Construction defects
  • Significant quality issues

Not covered:

  • Normal wear from intensive use
  • Damage from improper care
  • Damage from inappropriate use conditions

8.2. Specialized Product Considerations

Dance footwear:

  • Intensive use: Regular training/competitions may cause accelerated wear
  • Surface conditions: Rough/uneven floors may damage uppers/soles faster
  • Care requirements: Proper ventilation and drying after each use

Delicate dancewear:

  • Special materials: Fringe, lace, tulle, mesh, velvet, satin, elastane
  • Embellishments: Sequins, crystals, embroidery require special care
  • Care instructions: Hand wash max 30°C, no spinning, gentle detergents
  • Damage from improper care: Voids return/exchange rights


9. Return Packaging Requirements

9.1. Customer Responsibility

  • Proper packaging: Protect product during return shipping
  • Original packaging preferred: Use original box/bag when available
  • Adequate protection: Prevent damage, scratches, dents during transport

Our rights:

  • Refuse return if inadequately packaged
  • Reduce refund amount for packaging-related damage
  • Charge for damage caused by poor packaging
